This film is suspenseful and engaging. It is a slower paced movie, but with all the information a person is trying to process in each shot, it needs to be slow. This film has a very vague resolution. Which is something I like in films, but this one could have used a little more clarity to direct us, as the audience, what to really take away from seeing this film. The whole film is like an unscrambled puzzle and at the end, it is still mostly unscrambled. This is a love-hate relationship for me in this one as it is slightly too ambiguous to be impactful. The visual effects are amazingly vibrant and detailed. The acting is strong. The characters are decently developed, especially Natalie Portman's character. This film is thought-provoking and will leave it's viewers pondering it for a while after viewing it. Overall the mixing of genres (sci-fi, drama, and thriller) work very well in this film. Some moments might be slow, but there is a good sense of suspense throughout. Overall, I give this film a 7.5/10.
