This film tries to build upon its predecessor, Meet the Parents, but end up recycling a lot of material from it. The additions of Barbara Streisand and Dustin Hoffman makes for a goofy set of parents for Ben Stiller's character. There are some funny jokes and gags throughout the film, but we have seen some of them before in the first one. With such a strong cast, this film's potential is through the roof, but it just settles for mediocrity. The pun of the last name "Focker" has gotten old and overused at this point. There are some clever and fun moments thanks to the standout cast. Overall, I give this film a 5/10.
