6Wonder Woman gave DC fans hope for a change in the DCEU film quality, but then Justice League reminded everyone that the DCEU is still struggling to find it's footing. Justice League is an improvement over Batman vs. Superman, but that's a low bar to begin with. The dialogue is campy and the visuals are not consistent. There are moments in this film that are funny and some action sequences that are exhilarating. For the most part, however, the dialogue is campy and quirky, and the plot is messy. Director, Zack Snyder needs help to turn this franchise around or he will be out of a job. The characters have no connection with the viewers, we cannot feel their emotions. Not to mention that Steppenwolf is one of the most bland superhero villains ever. Ben Affleck as Batman still feels like a mismatch. However Gal Gadot still is fantastic as Wonder Woman. Also, Ezra Miller as the comedic relief character, Flash, does really well to inject much needed humor into the DCEU but it is not enough to compensate for an overall lackluster movie. Overall, I give this film a 5.5/10.
