"Mean Girls" is hilarious. It isn't just a couple of the characters that are funny, which is the case in several comedies, but it is the majority of the characters that supply numerous laughs. Starring Lindsey Lohan, Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried, Tina Fey, Lizzy Caplan, and others, this movie packs capable actors with roles they can handle well and bring to life. The plot is one we have seen before: new kid at high school strives to be accepted. However a story that is fresh makes this teen comedy resonate more than some of a similar genre. The dialogue is hilarious and filled with jokes. There is sensible use of slapstick to the degree that it is funny and not overbearing. However, this film does fall into the same elements that many teen comedies tend to do. The ending turns out to be sappy and predictable. At the end of the day though, this is a fun and funny movie that is very enjoyable. Overall, I give this film an 7.5/10.
