The highly anticipated sequel to 2004's "The Incredibles" does not disappoint. "Incredibles 2" picks up right where the first one ended and continues to improve from there. This newest Pixar film is very well animated. The great animation makes the action sequences dazzling. The characters are very well fleshed out. Every character is deep and the audience is able to understand why they do what they chose to do. These two things combine with a fun and solid story to become one of Pixar's better films to date. Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, and Samuel L. Jackson return and voice their characters perfectly. The addition of Catherine Keener and Bob Odenkirk for the new characters are excellent choices. There is a very good balance humor, action, and seriousness in this movie. On top of all these great elements, the story is well thought out and fun. Not to mention, the heartfelt message at the center of it all. Although it is overly predictable, it is still fun and engaging. This is a film that parents, children, and everyone can watch and enjoy. Overall, I give this movie an 8.5/10.
