Quotable, funny, and fun, "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" has just about anything for anyone. John Hughes directs yet another classic 80s teen dramedy. Matthew Broderick shines in the leading role and brings great charisma to his character. The supporting cast also have great moments that are very memorable. This movie has a lot of heart and is a fun, light-hearted adventure. The fourth wall breaks add flavor to the movie and help to add a deeper connection between the audience and the titular character. Ditching school for a day and going on a big city adventure is something a lot of high school kids from the suburbs would like to do, and this film takes the audience along for the ride. There are duller moments and some seem to drag on a bit too long, but nevertheless, this movie is a classic. Overall, I give this film an 8/10.
