"Pulp Fiction" is great. The dialogue is amazing, albeit profane, but amazing nonetheless. The backwards, sideways, and all the different ways of storytelling in this movie is remarkable. All of the simultaneous criminal stories are interwoven so fluidly and intricately and it really shows off Quentin Tarantino's writing skill. None of the stories are dull. His directing is also perfect. The camera work is excellent. John Travolta, Uma Thurman, Samuel L. Jackson, Bruce Willis, and every other actor in this film bring their A-game. There is not a single weak performance during the entire 2.5 hour runtime. The characters are all interesting and enjoyable to watch. This movie had a budget of only $8 million, and brought in nearly 27 times that amount at the worldwide box office. This film really launched Tarantino's career, and it still stands as arguably his greatest film. It is without a doubt one of the greatest movies ever made. This film has a reputation for being violent, but it really isn't that violent, but when it is, it doesn't hold back its punches. The intricacies throughout this movie with the plot and dialogue make it great and extremely re-watchable. Overall, I give this film a 10/10.
